New Online Grocery

A new online grocery store is creating a firestorm of reaction on the Internet.  MyHarvestAmerica.com launched last month advertising that non-perishable products are available for free home delivery.  Plus consumers do not pay taxes on products and most are advertised at 25% below retail prices saving customers potentially a lot of money.  In Oklahoma, some say the service is extremely helpful in saving money.

Mark Gibson, from Chouteau, OK, uses the service and says, "This is an awesome company. You do pay a membership fee each month if you spend more than $150 a month on non perishables (from aspirin to Ziploc baggies) you can not lose."

However, some are concerned the online service is too good to be true or possibly even a scam.  One woman blogged online that MyHarvestAmerica didn't always have her normal name brand products for sale. She also complained that price savings were only pennies and didn't compensate for the $30-40 membership fee.  Plus, she had concerns that online shopping was too impersonal and didn't allow for checking expiration dates.
