Three Car Pile Up On I-44 Injures Two

A chain reaction accident on westbound Interstate 44 at Garnett sent two people to the hospital Friday night.

TULSA, OK -- A chain reaction accident sent two people to the hospital Friday night. The accident, which took place just after 2 a.m. on westbound Interstate 44 near Garnett, involved three vehicles.

Troopers on scene said a car changed lanes into the driver's side of a pickup truck, causing the truck to go into a roll. The pickup rolled over the top of a PT Cruiser before coming to rest on its top against the highway barrier.

Troopers said two people were transported to area hospitals to be evaluated. No arrests were made.
