Ingredients
1 angel food cake
2 quarts of strawberries
1 tub of Cool-Whip lite or whipped topping of choice
Cooking Instructions
Tear angel food cake into bite sized pieces and place in large bowl.
Clean strawberries by placing in a colander and gently rinsing them under cool water before removing the stems. Cut off the stem and hull out with a paring knife or small utility knife; dry berries gently on paper towel and slice berries into halves; add to cake and mix gently with spoon in bowl.
Gently add the whipped topping to cake and berry mixture by taking a spatula or spoon, scrape the bottom of the bowl and gently layer fruit and cake over the whipped topping. Repeat until all ingredients are well combined.
Chill before serving.
