Cash for Appliances

Hey there everyone..

Move over Cash for clunckers...coming this fall, a new cycle for people buying new appliances. The government is going to be rolling out a new program aimed at helping people purchase energy star appliances. This program is part of the american recovery and reinvestment act of 2009. It's goal, to save energy by encouraging new energy efficient appliances and giving rebates to people who buy them.  The rebates will range from $50 to $200 dollars.  Most of this could be funnelled through states... which have a deadline in October.

I will keep you posted as we learn more about the cash for appliances and how it wil all work.
