Man Killed Overnight at Northwest Oklahoma City Apartment

Police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting.

Officers responded to a report of gunfire at about 1:30 this morning at the West Pointe Apartments, 7319 Lyrewood Lane.

A resident told police she heard a gunshot outside her apartment shortly after she heard male voices talking. She said she looked out her window and saw a black male running from the area.

When they arrived, officers found 21-year old Marc Jason Daniels dead in the parking lot from an apparent gunshot wound. Daniels was a resident of the apartment complex.

Police do not have any suspect information.
