2 injured in shooting along L L Tisdale Parkway in Tulsa; Police investigating

Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting along the L L Tisdale Parkway that left two people in a vehicle injured just before noon on Monday.

Two people are hurt after an apparent shooting and crash that occured on the L L Tisdale Parkway on Monday, authorities say.

Capt. Richard Meulenberg with the Tulsa Police Department said officers were called to the scene of a crashed out car near 1500 N. Tisdale Pkwy in the southbound lanes.

Officers arrived and discovered the car with bullet holes in the driver's side, and that the occupants had left the scene in another vehicle. Capt. Meulenberg said the two who were injured, a male and female, were in their 20s and had "non-life-threatening injuries."

"As this car was traveling southbound on the Tisdale, at about Apache, another vehicle was shooting at it," he said.

Police said traffic will be impacted while the investigation continues.

There's no information on any potential suspect at this time.
