'Armed and Dangerous' FBI Joins Search for Garfield County Fugitive

The FBI is asking for the public's help finding an Enid shooting suspect.

The FBI announced Wednesday it's joining Enid Police in the search for a Garfield County fugitive.

Jonathan Adrian Baez Perez, 23, is accused of shooting a man outside an Enid store on May 18, 2024.

Baez Perez is wanted on charges of assault and battery with deadly weapon, possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, and larceny of an automobile, aircraft, or other motor vehicle, according to court documents.

He's described as 5 foot, 7 inches with black hair and brown eyes with tattoos on his arm and hand.

Baez Perez, originally from Mexico, has ties to Enid and Kingfisher, Oklahoma, as well as Guadalajara, Mexico, officials said in an FBI press release.

He is considered armed and dangerous.
