The City of Tulsa is planning a new hotel and restaurant on Cry Baby Hill, aiming to boost tourism along Route 66.

A developer has proposed the Palmera Motor Court, a retro-style 50-room hotel with a pool, to be built on the hilltop of Cry Baby Hill. The city says the project could be completed by November 2026, in time for the Route 66 centennial celebration, which is expected to draw visitors to Tulsa.

The new hotel is part of the ongoing efforts to attract more tourists to the area.
