A delicious recipe straight from the garden! Perfect for any summer gathering.
Ingredients
- 1 flatbread crust
- 2 tablespoons pesto sauce
- 1 (4 ounce) burrata or fresh mozzarella
- 1-2 zucchini, sliced 1/4 inch thick rounds
- grated parmesan cheese
- Garnish: Hot honey or truffle honey
- 3 slices prosciutto
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Prep: Place a pizza steel or stone in the oven to preheat.
- Prep: To prepare flatbread: spread pesto all over the flatbread crust.
- Prep: Put slices of zucchini over the top of the pesto and then tear pieces of prosciutto and arrange over the zucchini.
- Prep: Use scissors to cut burrata into pieces and arrange evenly over the top.
- Prep: Sprinkle with parmesan and drizzle olive over the top.
- Cook: Use a pizza peel or paddle to transfer the flatbread to the hot oven.
- Cook: Cook for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted on top.
- Cool: Remove from the oven and cool 5 minutes before cutting. Drizzle with truffle or hot honey for an exciting taste twist.
