An overnight shooting left one person dead in SW Oklahoma City early on Saturday.

It happened around 3 a.m. when police said officers responded to Southwest Medical Center after a person was brought there in a personal vehicle with a gunshot wound.

That person died soon after, and investigators were unsure where the shooting itself happened.

The victim was later identified as Gjmon Davis.

Hours later, police discovered a scene near SW 25th Street and Youngs Boulevard.

Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators were at a home for several hours Saturday afternoon.

Crime scene tape stopped traffic on a portion of 25th Street.
