Teens Place 1st In Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon 5k

The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon hold multiple races throughout the weekend, including Saturday morning's 5k.

Jack Sydnes, the male 5k winner, is a senior at Edmond North High School.

"It was awesome, just a wave of excitement," Sydnes said. "It's great running out here for such a great cause, honoring the 168 that died."

13-year-old Morgan McNutt was the female 5k winner, and she was greeted by family at the finish line.

"I feel really loved," McNutt said. "They've always been my biggest cheerleaders."
