A bus that crashed into a NW Oklahoma City building was caused by a passenger assaulting the driver, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said the passenger wanted to exit at a location the driver said they could not stop.

The passenger then began assaulting the bus driver, pulling him out of the driver's seat leading to a crash into a building.

The Embark bus hit a building near North Western Avenue and West Britton Road.

There were five passengers on the bus and the one accused of assault is now in custody, police say.

OCPD said one passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
