'I'm Anticipating A Large Majority Of Our Team Playing In This Bowl': Mike Gundy Starts To Look Ahead To The Texas Bowl

The 20th-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys learned their bowl destination on Sunday. The Pokes will be headed back to the TaxAct Texas Bowl to take on Texas A&M in a rematch of the 2019 Texas Bowl.

This will be OSU's fourth bowl game played in Houston, with the Cowboys winning two of the first three.

The 2023 Texas Bowl will be the 29th meeting between the two programs in a series that dates back to 1913. This will also be the third time the two teams have faced off in a bowl game. The Cowboys have won four of the past five meetings between the two schools.

OSU head coach Mike Gundy met with the media on Monday to give his early thoughts on the bowl season.
