"When You Haven't Been There, You Have To Fight To Get There": Muskogee Plays For 1st State Title Since 1986

Muskogee will look to end a 37-year state title drought on Friday afternoon, as the 10-2 Roughers face 10-2 Stillwater in the 6A-II State Championship game at 1 pm at UCO in Edmond.

Friday will be Muskogee's sixth appearance in the state title game, but their first since 1986, which is also they last time they won the state title.

They'll face a top-ranked Stillwater team they just saw in Week 10 of the regular season. The Pioneers won that one 30-20 to take home the district title.
