Police in Stillwater are searching for a suspect who is wanted on several felony counts out of Lincoln County.
According to a news release, 25-year-old Lewis Anthony Bearden is wanted on counts of burglary, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm after a former conviction of a felony, knowingly concealing stolen property, and robbery in the first degree.
Police executed a search warrant on Wednesday in the 3000 Block of East Raintree in Stillwater but did not find him.
That location is the home of Bearden’s recently separated ex-girlfriend, Brittany Fent. She says the two broke up almost a month ago, and she has not seen him in several weeks.
Despite the breakup, police said they had credible information Bearden was at the property, which led a tactical team to the home. As part of the department’s standard protocol for high-risk warrants, several windows, doors, and other areas of the house were damaged.
“Unfortunately, nobody did come out at that time, so we had to go through different safety precautions and procedures to execute that search warrant,” said Lt. TJ Low from the Stillwater Police Department.
But Fent said the raid caused her to be evicted and suffered damage to most of her belongings.
“That’s all I had,” she said. “I didn’t have anything else.”
Low said that compared to other high-risk warrants, the damage in this case was less than usual.
“Due to Bearden’s violent history, they had to go through it very slow and make sure they checked everything,” Low said.
Fent said she does not know where Bearden is now and that when they broke up, they cut ties entirely. The two share one child together.
A source close to Fent shared pictures of her home after the raid:
