Excessive heat warnings are out for Wednesday. It's already hot in the morning, and it will be sweltering in the afternoon.
Highs once again from 100 to 108 degrees. This same pattern holds through the next several days.
The heat wave weakens this weekend. Next week looks cooler with highs in the 80s and low 90s.
We will also see storm chances return as the jetstream pattern shifts back into what we call northwest flow.
