Study Finds Link Between Abortion Access, Suicide Rate

New research by the University of Pennsylvania finds reduced access to abortion is linked to a higher suicide risk for young women.

The study found states where abortion access had been restricted, like Oklahoma, suicide rates increased in women ages 25 to 44.

Doctors said the lack of abortion access can be a significant mental health stressor.
