Big Mama's BBQ Sauce

1. 2 cups ketchup
2. 1/4 cup brown sugar
3. 2 tablespoon honey
4. 2 tablespoon real maple syrup
5. 1 tablespoon minced onion
6. 1 tablespoon onion powder
7. 2 tablespoons paprika
8. 2 tablespoons garlic powder
9. 2 tablespoons kosher salt
10. 2 tablespoons fresh cracked pepper
11. 1 tablespoon liquid smoke

1. Combine all of the ingredients in a medium sized sauce pan and heat for 20 to 30 minutes over low heat.
2. Stir the barbecue sauce occasionally but make sure not to bring it to a boil.
3. Once the barbecue sauce has thickened remove from the stove top and allow the sauce to cool.
4. Pour into a large mason jar and seal.
5. Store in the refrigerator for up to one month.
