Law officers are searching for an inmate who walked away from the Lexington Correctional Center, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections reported.

Law officers are searching for an inmate who walked away from the Lexington Correctional Center, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections reported.

Matthew L. Perry was absent from a headcount around noon on Sunday. As of Monday, Perry is still at large, the corrections department said.

Perry is a 31-year-old white male who stands about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 215 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Perry is serving a 20-year sentence on multiple convictions including forgery and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.
