Norman Recycling Contest

The city of Norman and Republic Series have teamed up to host a contest to see who can't recycle the mot for the month of March.

Each week, 100 recyclers will be chosen to receive a $25 gift card to a local business or restaurant.

At the end of the month, some residents will be entered to win a YETI cooler.

OKCPS Virtual Job Fair

Oklahoma City Public Schools will host a virtual teacher career fair Tuesday.

Candidates will speak with principals and learn about the open positions from, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The University of Oklahoma is planning to pack Memorial Stadium at full capacity for the 2021 home opened on September 11.

Twin Lakes Fire Department Update

Communities from across the state are showing the Oklahoma standard after a fire destroyed the Twin Lakes Volunteer Fire Department in February.

The Fire Chief said local fire departments have been donating resources while Twin Lake recoups after their loss.

A GoFundMe page was created to raise money for the department.

Southwest Oklahoma State University is offering short-term business and tech courses through the end of April.

This is an eight-week option for students needing to maintain full-time enrollment, or anyone interested in short-term business courses.
