Community Helpers Nonprofit

Community Helpers Organization is a local 501c nonprofit organization with a heart for helping Oklahomans in need. The organization is working to raise money to help Oklahomans pay rent and provide assistance during the pandemic.

To get involved with the program, to give or if you're in need it’s as easy as going to their Facebook page or visit the Community Helpers website.

EMBARK Free Senior Rides

EMBARK is offering free round trip, non-emergency medical trips for seniors. This includes COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

Trips need to be scheduled three days in advance. Lift equipped vehicles are available.

Tulsa Race Massacre Book Club

The Univerity of Oklahoma's Tulsa campus and the Schusterman Library are inviting students and staff to join their virtual book club at 12 p.m. Wednesday.

The group is reading "Tulsa, 1921: Reporting a Race Massacre" to celebrate Black History Month.
