TPD Identifies Driver Arrested In Connection With Fatality

Tulsa police are investigating after a deadly incident near 61st & Peoria.

Officers at the scene said a woman was hit and killed by a car around 4:15 Sunday morning while crossing the street and the driver did not stop. Officers were able to locate the driver and arrest them on complaints of leaving the scene of an accident.

According to TPD records, the driver was identified as 61-year-old Alexis Lau.

Next of kin have not been notified, so police have not released the name of the victim.
