Some Oakridge Elementary Students In Moore Sent Home After 2 Positive COVID-19 Cases

Some students from Moore's Oakridge Elementary were sent home after the district was notified of two positive COVID-19 cases.

One of the cases was a child who was unaware and asymptomatic. The student was tested as a precaution for a personal matter.

The second case was a staff member.

Everyone who had close contact with either case are being notified and are in quarantine.

A Moore Public Schools official said the district informed the health department and their nurses to begin contact tracing.
