Police said anger over a closed dining area due to COVID-19 at a McDonald's in southwest Oklahoma City led to two employees being shot and another injured.

Police responded Wednesday to the fast food restaurant, located at Southwest 89th Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue, and found three victims. According to officers, one male victim was shot in the shoulder and the second male victim was shot in the arm. Both were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers said the third victim, a woman who is also a Mcdonald's employee, sustained a head injury during the incident.

Police said two suspects are in custody. No names have been released at this time.

McDonald's Corporation Operations Officer Christopher Sparks released the following statement to News 9:

“The safety and security of our employees and customers is our top priority. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement as they investigate this matter.”
