BURBANK, Calif. (AP) -- Oklahoma native Reba McEntire is back as host of the Academy of Country Music Awards.

McEntire will preside over the 41st edition of the show on May 23rd in Las Vegas. This will be the eighth time she's hosted the show.

The show will be broadcast live on CBS.

The 51-year-old McEntire stars on the show "Reba."
