NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma quarterback Paul Thompson says the best is still to come from the Sooners.

OU goes into the Fiesta Bowl against Boise State at 11-and-2 and has won eight straight _ but Thompson says the team hasn't played its best game yet.

The quarterback says there's always ways to improve and the team has one more chance to do that.

The Fiesta Bowl kicks off at 7:30 pm on New Year's Day.
