According to police, a man walked inside the store, located near East 11th Street and Highway 169, and had a gun in his waistband Police said the suspect demanded money and cigarettes from the a clerk who had just made a deposit. April's Impactful Teacher Of The Month is Carol Ann Sallee. Mrs. Salle has been an educator for about 30 years and is currently a Kindergarten teacher at the Janice K. Pollard Early Childhood Center in Collinsville. Carol Ann plays piano by ear and is constantly playing music in her classroom.
