So far in 2012, the state of Oklahoma has seen 50 tornadoes according to the National Weather Service with 43 happening in April.
Six people died in tornadoes on April 14th and 15th. April tornadoes also injured 49 people in McClain, Cleveland, Ellis and Woodward counties.
The National Weather Service says there were no tornadoes in the state during January and February.
In March, there were five and in May there were two tornadoes. Those two tornadoes occurred on May 1st, with one in Nowata and one in Craig County.
