Small Fire Extinguished In Downtown Tulsa Apartment Building

The Tulsa Fire Department is trying to figure out what started a fire on the 13th floor of the University Club Tower apartments early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters got the alarm just before 4 a.m.

Firefighters say the fire was contained to one apartment and they put it out quickly.

Fire officials say the resident of the apartment was not hurt.

Because the fire was put out so quickly, the building at 17th and Carson did not have to be evacuated.
