According to the university, President Hargis will present a leadership transition to the OSU athletics department at a university Board of Regents meeting. Hargis will recommend Mike Holder be appointed as athletic director emeritus and Chad Weiberg as athletic director, both effective July 1, 2020.

A vehicle then caught fire several hours after a teen driver crashed it into a utility pole on Wednesday night. According to officers, the driver swerved to avoid hitting an animal when they went off the road, hit a culvert, and then hit a utility pole near 13th and 145th East Avenue. The driver was uninjured, but hazmat crews were called to the scene to remove pool chemicals from the van. Some Parkinson's Patients Boosting Quality Of Life Through Boxing

There's still no cure for Parkinson's disease, but some patients say they're boosting their quality of life one punch at a time. 75-year-old Nancy Van Der Straeten was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease nine years ago. "I really used much medicines and I discovered that is not enough. You have to move, move, move," she said. And she does move. Wearing purple sneakers and shiny gloves, Nancy believes boxing will slow down her illness. "After two hours training you feel really better," she said.

OKDPS To Extend Hours Of Operation For Driver License Offices Across The State
