Apartment fire ousts residents

A three-alarm fire on the northwest side of Oklahoma City sent 10 residents fleeing from their apartments Monday morning.

Three units were severely damaged in the apartment fire at 7821 Lyrewood Lane that started just before 4:30 a.m. Monday, fire officials said. Authorities said a number of other apartments suffered smoke damage as well.

No one was injured and there is no information yet on what started the fire.
