On Monday, August 6, Oklahoma City police officers conducted surveillance of the Subway located at 1035 S.E. 66th Street. According to a police report, Jeremy Gene Walker, 27, was working at the store alone near closing time. Police said the restaurant was closed early while Walker remained inside.

During their surveillance, officers said they observed several people visit Walker inside the business for extended periods of time and not eating sandwiches.

Officers arrested Walker as he left the restaurant. Officers recovered 2.8 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a glass pipe, a handgun, digital scales and $255 in cash.

Walker faces various charges including possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Walker was transported and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail without incident.

Police also arrested Matthew Primeaux, 24, who they observed leaving the Subway after spending a couple of minutes inside with Walker. After officers stopped Primeaux in his car at I-240 and Western Avenue, they found him to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance without a prescription.
