Fires across Oklahoma City kept firefighters extremely busy the night of New Year's Eve and into New Year's Day.
Crews were called first around 11:30 p.m. to a house fire near S.W. Grand and Robinson. Someone passing by saw the flames and called 911. By the time firefighters arrived, the house was fully involved. No one was home when the fire started and no one was hurt. It's not known how the fire started.
A few hours later around 2:30 a.m., crews rushed to a house at S.W. 35th Street and Pennsylvania to put out a fire that had already been extinguished, but later rekindled. Firefighters believe the fire was the result of arson.
And at 3:30 a.m., firefighters were called to the Rockwell Terrace Apartments on N.W. 10th Street to put out yet another fire. Crews extinguished it quickly. Firefighters have been called to the same complex numerous times in the past. It's also been the scene of several shootings.
No one was hurt in any of the fires.
