A ridge of high pressure will build over Oklahoma the next few days bringing back the summer-like temperatures.
Highs today will climb to the upper 80s and low 90s with a very light south wind. Look for mostly sunny skies this afternoon, as the high pressure limits rising motion, and cloud formation. The humidity won't be too awful today, but will increase through the week. This will bring near 100 degree heat indices by Friday.
Tonight look for mostly clear skies, a light south breeze, and temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s.
As we head toward the middle part of the week, the ridge will break down some, allowing a few weak disturbances to pass overhead. This will allow for slight chances of isolated thunderstorms late Wednesday into Thursday. Any rain showers or thunderstorms will be limited in coverage, and are not expected to be widespread.
