Lightning Strike Splits Tree, Breaks Windows & Water Main In OKC

A tree near S.W. 36th Street and Harvey was hit hard by lightning Saturday morning.

The tree was split in half.

The homeowner said the tree basically exploded when it was struck.

The lightning also caused a water main to break. It even broke some windows on a home.
