I think tonight's Insight Bowl in Tempe will be a fun one. Not a lot of people will see it, in the stands or on television (only 5,000 tickets sold to OSU fans as of yesterday). But I expect the scoreboard to get a workout. The question is which team can stop the other?

I'm taking the Cowboys. Indiana's defense is average at best. I think they'll really struggle to contain OSU's multiple weapons in Robinson and Savage and Bowman and Pettigrew...etc. I also get a sense that Mike Gundy is eager to prove that his offense won't miss a beat without Larry Fedora there to call the plays. I think he would love to be his own Offensive Coordinator next season and needs a good performance in the bowl game to convince his fan base he is the man for the job. I anticipate a wide-open, peddle-to-the-metal offensive game plan from the Pokes and I'm not sure the Hoosiers can do anything about it.

Indiana, on the other hand, has a talented offense led by big 6'7 wide receiver James Hardy and versatile quarterback Kellen Lewis. But they're not as explosive as OSU. They'll score, but I'm not sure they can score enough.

This will be a highlight reel of a game. Expect several long touchdown runs, big plays by the receivers and maybe even a special teams touchdown or two. Settling for field goals won't be good enough.

Make it back-to-back bowl victories for Gundy's Cowboys...Holy Guacamole...Pistols Firing...I'll take OSU 47-24....Good Night Vienna!
