Remember your economic stimulus package

The Internal Revenue Service extends a reminder to make sure you get your 2008 economic stimulus payment.

More than 130 million American households will receive letters during March reminding them to file a 2007 tax return in order to get that payment.

We're told the notice does not seek any financial information and will go out to taxpayers who filed a tax return last year. Some people will need to take an extra step this year to get the stimulus payment.
