Falling concrete closes part of Highway 169

Falling concrete forced the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to close one northbound lane of U.S. Highway 169 at Pine Street in Tulsa Thursday morning.

TULSA, Okla. -- Falling concrete forced the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to close one northbound lane of U.S. Highway 169 at Pine Street in Tulsa Thursday morning.

ODOT spokeswoman Kenna Mitchell said concrete from one of the northbound lanes of U.S. Hwy. 169 fell onto Pine Street damaging some vehicles.

No injuries were reported, Mitchell said.

It's not clear when the northbound lanes will be reopened.  Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
