CAHSION, Okla. - Cashion High School was locked down after a man was spotted walking near the school with a gun Thursday morning, officials said.
The man allegedly pointed a rifle a two women, authorities said.
The suspect was spotted near the school with a rifle with a scope. The school was placed on lock down as a precaution within three minutes, Logan County Undersheriff Kevin Woodward said.
A person was detained by officers, but was later released without being arrested.
A school receptionist said all students were safe during the duration of the threat.
