TIF Approved for Devon Tower

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Council voted for a new way to pay for improvements around the future Devon Tower.

The city council approved a tax increment financing - or TIF district. That means any property taxes collected on the planned Devon Tower would go to specific improvements around the company's downtown headquarters, like upgrades to roads and parks.

Devon's goal is to bring other global headquarters to Oklahoma City.
