MOORE, Oklahoma -- Moore police are trying to find a man who they said kidnapped and assaulted his girlfriend Tuesday.

Police spokesman Jeremy Lewis said 22-year-old Randy Roebuck Jr. threatened his 19-year-old girlfriend with a knife and tried to gouge out her eyes.

"He became very angry, making statements about her wearing makeup. Making statements about the way she was dressed," said Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis.

Finally when they stopped at a Love's store south of Norman, the woman managed to get away and call police.

Moore detectives followed Roebuck's trail to Duncan with a warrant for his arrest. A judge had already set his bond at $1 million.

So far officers have been unable to locate him.

Roebuck has spent time in prison, and authorities said they consider him dangerous.

Anyone with information about Roebuck's whereabouts call Moore police, Duncan police, or the Stephens County Sheriff.
