FORT WORTH, Texas – Friday's game was like a bad case of déjà vu for the Sooners.

Dallas Baptist, who upset then-No. 11 OU in Norman in April, did it again to start the NCAA Regional in Fort Worth.

DBU pulled off a 3-2 victory in 10 innings, the same margin of victory that the Patriots came away from Norman with just more than a month ago.

The MVP of the game for Dallas Baptist was starting pitcher Brandon Williamson, who threw nine innings and gave up seven hits and two runs.

DBU took control early in the game, getting on the board in the top of the first thanks to an RBI double from Jason Krizan.

For four innings, the Patriots held the Sooners off and maintained their lead.

But in the fifth, a sacrifice fly from Garrett Buechele scored Cale Ellis and tied the game.

Ellis found home plate once again in the seventh, this time on a single from Tyler Ogle, and the Sooners held a late-game 2-1 lead.

But Dallas Baptist decided to pull off some heroics, scoring the tying run in the ninth and posting the winning run in the 10th inning on another RBI hit from Krizan.

Jordan John picked up the loss for the Sooners.

OU now moves to the bottom of the bracket and must work their way back up through the regional to advance.

The Sooners will take on the loser of Friday's TCU-ORU game. OU will play Saturday at 2 p.m.
