Oklahoma Deputies Arrest One In Apparent Cockfighting Ring Raid

There could be a cockfighting ring - operating right in Spencer. The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office is looking into that possibility at a home on Sherman Road.

Deputies responded to complaints of birds fighting at that location. They found five fighting birds in the car of one person at the scene.

There were about 120 other birds on the property. Deputies have not yet confirmed if those birds were used to fight.

Michael Hornbeck was taken into custody on outstanding felony warrants.

The investigation is ongoing.
