Free Dental Clinic To Be Hosted In McAlester

We all need dental care, but not all of us can afford it, and that's where Delta Dental is making a huge difference with their Mission of Mercy Dental Clinic set for next weekend.

The Mission of Mercy Clinic will be held in McAlester at the S.E. Expo Center at 4500 Highway 270. Doors open at 5 a.m. both Friday and Saturday, on February 3 and February 4.

According to officials, more than 130 chairs will be available at the fully-functional dental facility. Nearly 1,400 volunteers, including dental professionals, will be present to provide dental services for free.

A variety of services, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and a limited number of anterior root canals, will be provided during the event, organizers said.

The Mission of Mercy Clinic is free and is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
