One person was killed after an auto accident on east Highway 9 and 136th Ave. in Norman Wednesday evening.
Norman Police responded to the accident, involving two vehicles, shortly after 4 p.m. EMSSTAT and members of the Norman Fire Department were also dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel located the two vehicles. One of the drivers was transported to Norman Regional Hospital; the driver of the other vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by EMSSTAT and fire department personnel.
The accident is being investigated by members of the Norman Police Department and University of Oklahoma Police Department's CIRT Teams.
The names of the individuals involved are being withheld pending notification of family members.
