A second wave of winter weather will arrive Wednesday night, bringing us another round of winter precipitation along and north of Interstate-44.
Southern portions of the state will likely see all rain and even a few strong storms.
Areas shaded in red can expect moderate to heavy snow Wednesday night into Thursday morning, with an additional 4"-6" possible. This will cause some snow–packed roadways.
Areas shaded in blue need to be ready for rain/freezing rain/sleet Wednesday night thru noon Thursday. This includes the Oklahoma City metro.
Surface temperatures will flirt with freezing tonight, so expect slick spots on the roadways with hazardous bridges/overpasses. Accumulating ice combined with east winds at 15 to 30 mph, could cause power outages as well.
Areas shaded in gray should be aware of a wintry mix consisting of mostly rain and the possibility of a few slick spots.
