Rollover Accident Blocks Traffic On Westbound I-40 In West OKC

A pickup lost control on westbound Interstate 40 Wednesday afternoon, crashing into a semi and causing the big rig to roll over.

The crash happened around noon on westbound I-40 between Council and Morgan. The overturned semi blocked traffic, but crews were able to clear one lane for drivers.

The roads were still wet from the rain, but it's not known what caused the pickup truck driver to lose control. There were no reports of serious injuries.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol estimates all lanes of traffic should be open by 3:30 p.m.
