The Warren Theatre in Moore, which was damaged when a massive tornado swept across the area, will reopen on Wednesday.
The theatre was forced to close after a devastating EF-5 tornado hit Moore on Monday, May 20. Contractors and construction crews have been working around the clock to repair damage from the storm.
"We were very fortunate not to have sustained more damage than we did. Our staff has been working along- side a large number of local workers to get the theatre open quickly and safely," Warren Theatre's President Bill Warren said.
Warren said although there are cosmetic exterior issues that still need to be addressed, the interior of the theatre was largely unaffected by the storm.
"We really appreciate the effort from all the workers, as well as the quick response from City of Moore officials that have helped us through this process," Warren said.
