Search Called Off, Hughes County Man Found

Emergency personnel in Hughes County have safely located a man who went missing Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Hughes County Sheriff's office, 34-year-old Charles Jason Tarkington went missing at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Authorities believed Tarkington was walking along the railroad tracks.

A description and photo of Tarkington was released to the media Wednesday afternoon, and authorities found him just before 6 p.m.
