Oklahoma City Police have released a man who was arrested last week in connection with the murder of a convenience store clerk.

On July 23, Habib Hajimirzaei was shot and killed at Four Seasons Gas and Food at N.W. 63rd Street and Santa Fe. A customer found his body.

On August 1, police arrested 28-year-old Michael Deveraux as a suspect in the case. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of first degree murder and robbery with a firearm.

Police have confirmed Deveraux was released from jail Wednesday. Police did not say why. Detectives are still investigating the case.
